For those who don't know, The Internet Archive is our modern day library of Alexandria. They have been archiving copies of web pages, images, music, videos, software and even games for years. And they actually go much further: They have sent emissaries all over the world to scan paper books in multiple cultures to preserve them, all with a machine they designed themselves. When they can't scan, they stockpile books.
They are benefactors of humanity trying to archive human memory. They operate on donations only.
